fmw: mid-morning sip by the big, open windows blowing cool air. snuggled under wool blanket (a bit overkill; it's arizona after all) reading a terrific book. one of the most comprehensive histories of food i've ever read. i'd recommend it above all other food books (history and otherwise), especially now! it's uncannily timely.
